(RTTNews) - The Pakistan rupee climbed to a 6-day high of 74.80 against the US dollar during early Asian deals on Tuesday. The pair was worth 75.2600 at Monday's close. If the Pakistan currency rises further, it may likely target the 72.80 level against the greenback.
Yesterday, the president of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf, stepped down ending weeks of political uncertainty to avoid impeachment, ending a nine year rule. Since last week, the new ruling coalition, which has drawn up the impeachment charges, has been making strenuous effort to force Musharraf to step down or face impeachment.
